How did Bombshell Hot Sauce get started?
Hi, my name is Lacey Ordish, founder of Bombshell Hot Sauce.
In 2018, I got clean and sober, and everything in my life started to change. I needed something positive to focus on, something to keep my mind busy and grounded. That’s when I turned to gardening. What started as a simple hobby quickly became something I truly fell in love with.
I was fascinated by all the different vegetables I could grow and what I could create with them. One day, a habanero pepper popped up in my bell pepper garden, something I never planted. I took it as a sign and ran with it. I nurtured that plant, added more peppers to my garden, and decided to try making hot sauce.
After experimenting with a few recipes, I shared small batches with friends and family, and they loved it. I loved it too. That’s when I knew I was onto something.
In 2020, when COVID hit and I lost my job as a nail technician, Bombshell Hot Sauce was truly born. What started as a way to stay focused and grounded turned into a full blown passion and purpose.
Today, Bombshell Hot Sauce is all about bold, flavor first sauces that make your food sing, your taste buds dance, and your heart smile. Every batch is handcrafted using fresh, high quality, all natural ingredients. Most of the peppers are grown right in my garden in Naples, Florida, and when I can’t keep up, I source from local vendors. Bombshell is proudly Florida grown and Florida made.
Not only does Bombshell bring the heat, but it is also packed with natural vitamins, antioxidants, and anti inflammatory benefits.
